Day 2: Sunday (Visiting Autojumble at Beaulieu and Welccome by the club)
After a nice british breakfast we jumped into our Jeep for driving through the New Forest to the Autojumble at Beaulieu, a must for every british vintage car owner.
Our first look was the classic private car market, but there were only some interesting cars offered which spreads the limit of our given budget.
The Morris register had a big meeting there and we could see a big collection of Morris Minors, some Morris 8 and a wonderful old fire engine (which was unsaleable). After a smalltalk with some club member we entered the area with stands offering all kind of car parts, tools and unneeded stuff.
We bought some new rear lights for our Austin and some small rubber parts. A rear wheel cover for the Austin was not found and also some other seldom pieces could not striked from our wishlist.
Then we found the stand of the ATDC but Tony Westhall was not there. So we continued our walk through the stands and after an hour we came back and Tony was happy to welcome us at Beaulieu and the Golden Jubilee Tour. He showed me some Austin 12 parts and a part of the clutch was from now on mine.
After saying good bye to Tony and his Familiy for today we spend some time at the burger stand. No longer hungry we inspected the rest of the stands and decided to drive back to the hotel.
